Alhamdulillah, finally, we have started our new garden!

We cleared out the land mid- May 2024.
17th May to be exact.
And then in July we stopped when Ameen was warded due to unknown high fever for almost two weeks.
And the routine were disrupted.
We have not came to the farm sonce, except for occasional visits.
The bushes came back covering the open soil we have cleared.
And after many weeks busy with preparing our kampung for desa tercantik competition, we finally managed to get back to the farm work.
So we planted the very first plants, 9 anak pokok pecah beling on 30th August 2024. And a bunch of bunga telang seedlings which will be future garden entrance arch
And then on 2nd September 2024, we planted few more on the perpendicular row. This is supposed to be pokok pagar for the Market Garden area where we are going to plant smaller vegetables.
For watering, we took the water from the pond. A few milk cartons were made as water drip supply hopefully will make the soil moist even if we can't come for few days.
On the 6th of September, we added more seedlings of pecah beling and another bunch of bunga telang which will be another side of the entrance arch.
Oh yes, there's also a moringga tree we planted but for now it doesn't seem to survive the heat in the first week. Hopefully it will recover with the upcoming rainy weeks.
On the 9th of September, we planted a mango tree next to the pondok ( for future reban ayam space.) A rambutan tree right opposite the pondok. And before that, a cheri kampung tree next to the pondok to be it's morning shade in the future insyaAllah.
In the pokok renek area, we planted two mulberry trees from the pasu at the back of the house now. And also a curry tree.
In the market garden bed area, Ummi managed to sow more ulam raja seeds, and also planted pokok cekur given by maklong during the weekend.
Before we left, ( they were catching small fish from the pond to put into the pond st home.) Ummi managed to squeeze in a row of bunga telang seeds along the entrance. Abah filled in the empty pasu with soil to plant new trees at home.
To be continued...stay tune!
