How to register for SPM Persendirian?

Hi Assalamualaikum.

Last week I did a sharing on how we prepare our children for SPM.

I saw questions on how to register,

so basicslly everything is done online here.

The registration is usually open around March every year, so do check the website from time to time.

1. First step, which should be done much earlier is to choose subjects to register.

Not all subjects are offered though.

So you have to check early for university course requirements if special subjects are required.

Ini subjek yg ditawarkan pada tahun sebelum ini.

Bahasa Melayu dan Sejarah ialah syarat wajib lulus untuk mendapatkan sijil SPM.

Selebihnya,

bolehlah tambah subjek teras yang lain.

Seeloknya ambil 6 subjek supaya boleh memohon ke program diploma yang biasanya memerlukan syarat kemasukan 5 credit. Maksima 12 subjek.

Secondly,

when the registration period is opened,

go to website and register.

Choose an exam centre that is the most convenient to go, especially for morning exams.

Fill in the required details,

and then make payment online.

Next, wait for confirmation of the exam registration. This is for the PPD ( Pusat Pendidikan Daerah) to confirm your exam centre.

Meanwhile, continue your study.

Around September ( or later), your personalized exam schedule will be available for downloads.

Check if there's any mistakes with the subjects.

This include attendance slip for oral exam, listing the oral test venues and time.

So everything will be arranged online for you.

On the day of examination,

bring relevant stationaries in clear bag, and your MyKAD.

Drink is allowed.

Bring everything you need, with printed exam slip downloaded from sppat2 website.

Wear formal attire with closed front shoes, no need to wear school uniform.

Usually, exam room for private candidates will be separated from school candidates.

So the invigilators are prepared to attend private candidates from different backgrounds. Don't worry, ok!
